Anthony is a gradute of Bentley College in Waltham, MA. and a magna cum laude graduate of Westbrook College (now known as the University of New England, Westbrook Campus) in Portland, Me.  His degrees are in Accounting and Business Administration. 

Anthony worked in the private sector for over thirty-two years for the Merrill Companies.  He began as an accounting clerk and eventually became the Treasurer and CFO of the companies.  During this time he developed an expertise in the transportation industry financial arena.  The Merrill Companies were involved in interstate trucking with a fleet over 300 tractors and trailers.  They also were involved with world wide transportation of bulk and break bulk cargos on ocean going vessels.

There were also a number of other industries that the Merrill Companies were involved in over the 32 years including lumber sawmills, coal sales, truck rental and insurance.  Anthony was responsible for all of the financial aspects of these companies.

This vast experience over those years has given Anthony the expertise to work with clients in a variety of businesses and provide them with the resources that they need in the financial arena.

Anthony is a member of the National Association of Accountants, National Association of Tax Professionals and Institute of Management Accountants.  He has received accreditation from the Accredition Council for Accounting and Taxation, Inc. He is an Accredited Business Accountant and an Accredited Tax Preparer.  Anthony finished second in the nation on the Accredited Business Accountant exam in December, 2005.

Anthony is a member of the adjunct faculty of Andover College in South Portland, Maine.
